What we do at RYSA

RYSA works with children and youth growing up in informal settlements in Nairobi.
Through football, education and mentorship, we create structure, safety and long-term opportunities.

Football opens the door, but responsibility, learning and community are what sustain progress.

Football programmes

Football provides routine, motivation and belonging.

RYSA runs structured training programmes for boys and girls across multiple age groups, from early childhood to senior teams. Training focuses on teamwork, discipline, physical health and respect, both on and off the pitch.

For most participants, football is not about becoming professionals. It is about stability, confidence and personal growth.

Education & School Attendance

Education first

School attendance is a core requirement at RYSA. All children in our programmes are expected to be enrolled in school, with education treated as an essential part of their development.

School attendance is required to participate in RYSA programmes
