RYSA (Runda Youth Sports Association) is a non-profit founded in 1996 to support children and youth growing up in Githogoro and Mji Wa Huruma, Nairobi.
We use football as the entry point, but our mission goes further: education support, mentorship, and safe spaces that help young people stay in school and build long-term opportunities.
We believe progress is built through consistency, community and care.
RYSA is built on long-term presence and local trust. We work directly in the communities where the children live, together with parents, schools and local leaders.
Our strength lies in consistency. Showing up every week. Setting clear expectations. Creating routines that make it easier for young people to choose school, teamwork and responsibility.
RYSA creates structure and belonging through organised football and mentoring. We work closely with families, schools and local partners to keep children safe, active and learning.
